1000mods (GR)

Greek heavy rock powerhouse 1000mods have solidified their reputation as one of the hardest-working bands in the scene through a two-decade DIY ethos and hundreds of ferocious global shows. Seamlessly blending classic '70s rock traditions with a gritty modern edge, the quartet delivers a no-frills attitude and thunderous live energy. From the iconic stoner rock milestones Super Van Vacation (2011) and Vultures (2014) to the ambitious alt-rock shift of Youth of Dissent (2020), they continue to push boundaries. Their acclaimed fifth album, Cheat Death (2024), stands as their heaviest record to date—packed with raw metal and punk influences that are ready to take no prisoners.
